Gugulethu Sophie Mbatha - better called Gugu is a British stage actress and film actor. Gugu gained notoriety after appearing on the BBC's Doctor Who,' a British TV show that is a science fiction. Gugu gained fame for her role as Tish Jones on the series by BBC. She played the role of the sister to a main character known as Martha Jones. The audience loved her cheerful energy and spontaneity, and there was there was no turning back for Gugu after a successful acting career ahead! Other stage and television productions in the UK include a variety of different productions. She has received critical acclaim for her roles in British period dramas 'Belle' (2013) and Beyond the Lights' (2014). Alongside her role in American films like Tom Hankscomedy "Larry Crowne", she also appeared on TV shows including 'Undercover and Touch'. In 2015, Gugu Mbatha-Raw performed the role of lead in the play 'Nell Gwynn' the play written by Jessica Swale, as a character who was an actress as well as the mistress of King Charles II of England and Scotland. She received a lot of appreciation from critics who were very pleased with her acting skills, and she was recognized for her prestigious "Evening Standard Theatre Award" for the Best Actress. Gugu received a Member of the Order of the British Empire award (MBE) from Queen Elizabeth II for her outstanding contribution to the drama.
Chelsea Joy Handler is a New Jersey native born in Livingston on February 25, 1975. Her family comprised six family members including Chelsea Joy Handler as the youngest. Handler was the daughter of a car salesman and housewife. Her mother is German who emigrated to America in the United States from Germany in 1958. In 1989, she was diagnosed with cancer, and passed away ten years later. Handler is a Jew of the Reform movement as well as her father who was Jewish. Handler resided in a beautiful community with a wonderful upbringing. She was just 19 when she decided to move to Los Angeles and pursue acting. Handler became an actress to support her. Handler's storytelling ability was discovered at the age of 21. Handler then decided to dedicate her entire career to stand-up comedy. At the beginning of her career Handler started out her career in the Oxygen network, which was an all-female cast on the hidden camera/comedy reality TV series Girls Behaving Badly. From 2002 until 2005, the series aired. The host then appeared on other TV shows such as Weekends at the D.L., The Bernie Mac Show, The Practice and My Wife and Kids. Handler is also a correspondent for The Tonight Show. Handler received her first big break when she hosted her E! Show in 2006. Named The Chelsea Handler show. It lasted two seasons. Handler later performed in the US on Comedy Central Hour Stand-Up Comedy Tour. VH1, Comedy Central Premium Blend & HBO have broadcast Handler's standup shows. In 2010, she announced that she would host at the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards. This made her the second women in history, behind Roseanne Barr, to host VMAs.
